My name’s David and I’ve been a personal and group fitness trainer in the northern suburbs for 7 years. My goal is to get regular kiwis off the couch and moving in a way that helps them improve their health, fitness, and life in general.
I’ve found that the best way to get results for my clients is to find what works for them and do that, rather than telling them what works for most people and trying to make everyone fit into the same box.

I’m not a drill sergeant type coach. I don’t yell and shout at my clients. I prefer to encourage my clients to try their hardest and use coaching cues to correct their technique.
I love writing about health and fitness as well as training people, if you would like to read what I’ve written you can follow this link to get to my blog.
I graduated top of my class from Massey University with a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise with a coaching and management major. I have also completed the level one Precision Nutrition coaching certification.
I love most sport and have competed in many, playing cricket and football at a representative level when I was younger. I enjoy playing golf in my free time, and am slowly making the journey from terrible to slightly less awful!
I enjoy most forms of fitness training, in particular, strength training and martial arts including Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing. I also previously coached football for 9 years before my wife and I had our son Toby and life got a bit too busy!
If you think you’d like to work with me to get a little fitter, healthier or stronger, then book an initial consultation and let’s talk about how I can help you reach your goals.
